Volunteers from the Colorado Chorale spent over an hour on Christmas day singing at a breakfast hosted at a Volunteer of America’s facility for those living on a fixed income.  There were over 50 eating, and at least half as many serving meals and singing.  The Chorale was represented by 16 members and their families.  The members of the Chorale sang traditional sacred and secular carols.  The choir took breaks during which time members of the choir played piano.

“I am always overwhelmed at the generosity of our members who took time away from their families (or brought them along) on Christmas morning to sing for strangers.  As we sang, I could see members of the audience mouthing the words of the carols.  As far as I know we are the only live music these folks will get and it was a pleasure to sing for them.”
